Bali Kite Festival 2011

Pelangi Bali Kite Festival 2011 was held back. Hundred of legendary kites in Bali soon splitting the sky island. Kite festival was held over three days, from 29 to 31 July 2011 in Padanggalak Beach, Sanur, Denpasar.

Mentioned, the sky will be decorated around 1080 Bali kites in various shapes and varieties. Legendary kite in Bali, including Pecukan (leaf shape), Bebean (fish), Janggan (tail length up to 100 meters), and the kite creations. The festival is themed Playing Kites in Green Island.

Chairman Pelangi Bali I Gusti Putu Rai Andayana said, before the festival, the organizers do religious ceremonies, to invoke the wind blew hard during the event.
